A good coop ain't ...
A good coop ain't cheap and a cheap coop ain't good. Spend 2-300 and do it right the first time and it will last you 10 years or more. The first racoon or fox that sees that thing will be having chicken ala king for dinner. It's good? intentions gone astray is all..

the sad fact of? ...
the sad fact of? the mater is that while it may be easy and convenient to make it wont keep out predators OR keep the birds safe from weather. There is nothing keeping the birds safe... I would hate to see someone loose all their birds because they think this will protect them.

how to do safeguard from dogs??? I just got my chicken killed by dogs twice!!!.. they ripped off the wire mesh just like yours... and am trying to think on how to rebuilt a new coop strong enough and dogproof..

poor chickens you ...
poor chickens you couldn't spring for a better roof .just a $5 tarp i bet there so happy under it..what about hawks flying? down and snagging them no protection over them or under them.any critter and lift that cheap thing up and have lunch..here's a tip..spend some more money on your chickens and protect them better

Chicken wire only keeps in chickens..it does not keep out chicken eaters. Hardware cloth would have made a much safer? coop.
